This is the former Comté de Nice. The hills are the setting of old villages brimming with traditions, legends and pilgrimages that remain very much alive. In this landscape of farming terraces, olive groves, chestnut groves, the villages of Peille, Peillon, L'Escarène, Lucéram and others are all popular stopovers with strollers (breathtaking panoramas) and visitors looking for cultural interest.
